The Ni-Vanuatu Women Leading Climate Action

Photographed in Vanuatu with ActionAid Australia, this body of work follows women within the Women I Tok Tok Tugeta network and their leadership in responding to the climate crisis.

The photographs look at women’s leadership as it is lived — through community organising, disaster preparedness, climate action and the systems of support women are building within their communities.

The work was presented at Women Deliver Melbourne 2026 as part of The Ni-Vanuatu Women Leading Climate Action, an exhibition held with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and supported by MECCA M-POWER.
