New work from India

This evolving series centres on devotion — the everyday and extraordinary ways people express faith, connection and belonging across India. The work includes photographs made during MahaKumbh 2025, a rare gathering that occurs only once every 144 years. During this alignment millions travelled to the Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati in Prayagraj. Considered one of Hinduism’s holiest sites, the Sangam becomes the most spiritually potent location for pilgrimage, prayer and ritual bathing during this rare alignment.
